7. Methodological memos
According to Dr. Jun, mostly dissertation is starting with “Grounded Theory” (vs. Elline thinks it would be ending with “Grounded Theory”.)
(Depended on situations and contents, you may use different research types.)
- Narrative Research: Autobiography, bibliography (one or individual
- Phenomenological Research: meaning for several individuals of their lived experience of a concept for a phenomenon
- Phenomenology Research: Universal Uniqueness (e.g. 9/11) in every day experiences or many years experiences
- Grounded Theory: To generate or discover a theory, an abstract analytical schema of a process
- Case Study: the study of issued that explored… law, medical
- Case Study: It would be comparing to different multiple case study researches.
8. Analytic memos
- Limitation and Challenge always exist and are in research.
